As City Administrative Officer, I am privileged to help guide the daily operations of our municipal government and support the strategic vision of Mayor Darnell Waites. My role centers on ensuring that every department—from Public Works to Parks and Recreation—functions with efficiency, transparency, and a shared commitment to serving our residents. Together, we work to make Baker a city that listens, responds, and leads.
My professional journey spans over two decades in public administration, education, and civic leadership. I hold a PhD in Public Policy and Administration, and my career has been shaped by a passion for inclusive governance, data-driven decision-making, and community empowerment. Prior to joining the City of Baker, I served in leadership roles across academic institutions and nonprofit organizations, where I focused on program development, strategic planning, and equity initiatives.
Here in Baker, I bring that same dedication to collaboration and innovation. I believe that good government starts with good communication—and that every resident deserves access to the services, resources, and opportunities that help communities flourish. Whether we’re improving infrastructure, expanding youth programs, or streamlining city services, my goal is to ensure that Baker remains a city where people feel seen, heard, and supported.
