BAKER CITIZEN OF THE YEAR NOMINATIONS SOUGHT

The City of Baker Inter-Club Council is now accepting nomination for the 2016 Citizen of the Year Award.


The following are the guidelines and dates for submitting the nominations:
  1. The individual must reside within the city limits of Baker or an unincorporated area of East Baton Rouge Parish;
  2. The individual must have provided unselfish time/talents that improved the quality of life for the citizens of Baker for which he/she was not paid and does not fall within the scope of his/her job duties; and
  3. Consideration is for the period 01/01/2016 - 12/31/2016.
Nominations should be mailed to P.O. Box 30, Baker, LA 70704-0030 or hand-delivered. Voting will be for those nominations received as of 5:30 PM on March 6,2017.
Voting by member clubs will be held in the Baker City Council Chambers on March 6, 2017 at 6:PM. Please note, your club dues may be paid at any time prior to March 7th. Clubs and organizations interested in joining the Inter-Club Council should contact President Doris Alexander at 778-0141.
